The goals of the agency
“Manche tourisme” becomes “Latitude Manche”, agency of attractiveness of La Manche, in March 2017 at the end of an extraordinary general meeting. The agency has for goal to improve the image and the attractiveness of Manche outside the borders. Enhance and dynamize are its mottos.

It brings together the private and public actors in this approach in order to reveal the strenghts and potential of our territory. Create a “Manche Spirit” to generate the interest of the tourists, doctors, CEO, crafsmen and of other new talents… This is their ongoing challenge.
The agency identified four principal targets: The influencers (companies, inhabitants, personnalities, medias), new talents (employees, creators of projects), tourists (French, British, German, Belgian market), healthcare professionals (doctors, specialists, dentists). Every target matches the challenges of the attractiveness process.
The agency’s actions for a great dynamism in the department
“Latitude Manche” thus developed the department’s mark “Manche, change your point of view” to promote the territory’s identity. The agency put also in place a lot of tools to support the Manche’s inhabitants in this attractiveness project.
- It organizes Job dating, forums and shows to attract new talents.
- It follows the new population in their stay on the territory by helping them in their accomodation or school research.
- It offers support to spouses in their job research.
- It offers an additional visibility through its websites and social networks.
- it developed a market place to promot the touristic offer of La Manche.
The agency encourages every actors from the department, inhabitants, companies and creators of projects to participate in the development of its image and develop à “Manche spirit”. Living in Manche must be a source of pride and must be claimed.

We choose to be a member of “Latitude Manche” to strengthen our commitment with the territory but also because we truly think that being united make us stronger. We associate our company to the approach and values of La Manche with the will to participate in the territory’s attractiveness.
Thanks to our membership with Latitude Manche and by their website www.manchetourisme.com, we help our customer to discover the places to visit and leisure activities near their place of stay. The agency communicates through its website, blog cestbeaulamanche.com, social networks and also different touristic communication brochures. Members benefit also from tools and services provided by the agency such as a photo library or job dating for summer jobs.
We can suggest to our holidaymakers numerous activities and discoveries in a clear, harmonious and exhaustive way in order to live unique moments in La Manche.

Our membership allows us to participe to the reflections about the futur of the department. Indeed, we are part of one of 4 working committes organized by the agency, even the tourism committe which study the development opportunities and promoting of the touristic strengths of our destination.
Today, the agency has 335 members. Different actors of the private sector, public administrations and associations made the choice to join the attractiveness goal promoted by Latitude Manche.

The Manche is primarily a living ideal environment, natural and beautiful landscapes, unique places such as “Marais du Cotentin” or “Mont Saint-Michel”. A territory with a strong maritime character with 360km of coastline and remarkable islands: Chausey, Tatihou and the Channel islands.
